It’s been a couple months since SJF has gone up the ranch, and we are overdue for some hill climbing! The Ranch has been synonymous with challenge for fixed gears here in San Jose, and it is one of the harder rides in the South Bay Area. For those that have done Fowler Creek Park rides or anything up the Yerba Buena,
it is very similar but adds more climbs in the Silver Creek area. It is steep and it is just as steep going down, so there is no problem/shame walking any part of it! Come out for a challenge and make sure to bring some water/treats because the pitstop will not be at a store for this TNR!

Meet: 6:00pm @ The Fountain
Depart: 6:30pm
W2B: Lights, Weather appropriate clothing, Tools, Tubes, Good attitudes & riding etiquette, Water/Treats, Smiles, and Happy faces

Route: 17 Mile Loop
From the Fountain > Down 7th > L on Tully > R on Senter
L on Yerba Buena > R on Silver Creek Valley Rd > R on Hassler

Pitstop: Rest at the top and/or bottom of the Ranch
Continue down Hassler > R on Hellyer > R on Senter
L on Tully > R on 7th into DT
Finish: SmokeEater’s DT

P.S. I know that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 comes out this Tuesday as well, but don’t get stuck in your room playing alllll day.. come out and get some riding time with your SJFam! And then call in sick on Wednesday so you have the whole day
