2.10.09 – No one said it was going to be easy, but it was. Two years worth of meetings and headaches. Two years worth of networking, promotions and doubting whether or not we could pull it off. And two years worth of decision-making and anticipation all squeezed into a grueling 60 days. So I lied, nothing was easy about it, but now San Jose can be revered as an Alleycat constituent, added to the list of “Damn Good Cities.”
135 competitors, 150+ spectators and an after party that put most to shame, San Jose’s first Alleycat was more than anyone expected, and it was a job well done. Thanks to all of our friends and sponsors. Congratulations to the winners, and for everyone who helped give this city something it could be proud of (aside from the Sharks).
