THERE WILL BE NO MONDAY RIDE … RAIN. Tuesdays we’re on it though.

This week we’ll go out and hit the Alviso slough and the airport. It can be a little windy on the way out, but we usually get a little help from the wind on the way back. We’ve been having a pretty solid group coming out on Tuesdays … let’s keep it up. Invite some friends.
We don’t leave anybody behind on the first half of the ride. We’ll pitstop out at the dock. And we will also pitstop outside of the airport and at Sonoma Chicken Coop(skyport).
Meet: 6:45pm @ The iMiNUSD shop (ALL rides start at the shop now)

Have fun. Ride Safe.
After we’ll hit up 4th St Pizza for Happy Meals. ($2Pizza/$2Beers)

Another short ride. After we pit stop, we will come down the backside of the hill and somebody will hit the “pedestrian walk” sign so that you can run through the light (or turn right). Ain’t no shame in walking up or down the hill. After, we will head up to Senter and sprint back. Review hrow to pace linehere

A wonderful turnout for a great cause. I hope you had as much fun racing as I did putting this thing together. Another event in the books proving once again that cycling in the South Bay is alive and well. The race was riddled with festive shenanigans from moving checkpoints, scarfing down poorly cooked pink pancakes, climbing Comm Hill to see St. Nick408, visiting Santa at the mall during rush hour, to bringing packages messenger-style from Christmas in the Park to iMD. It was a mess, but well worth the stories and beer at the end. AND EVERYONE walked away with multiple prizes.
A big shot out to East Palo Alto Fixed. They cleaned up 1st through 3rd place. Raul who took 3rd is only 15! Dope.
Let’s see if SJFixed has an answer to that soon.

Registration 12:00/Race 1:00
Entry Fee: One new unwrapped toy
Fixed/SS AND Geared Categories. Handicap for Road Bikes.
First and last San José alleycat of the year. Be there.
This is our chance to come together for a good cause. Blog about it. Speak about it. Be about it.
Everyone with a bike should come out and donate ONE toy for a kid somewhere out there who will be blown away that someone cares. Even if its small gift, your heart is in the right place. You don’t have to race to donate.
If not racing, if not donating, then just come out and see the fam and shoot the shit. Bring everybody out, old and new, to see that in San José, we do it a little different.
Thanks to everyone behind the scenes and our sponsors for helping this to be a memorable race!
